Stoke 0-4 Tottenham Hotspur match review. 10th of September 2016.

Today we witnessed a case of déjà vu with the exact same scoreline as on the April 18th earlier this year.  Dele Alli and Harry Kane seem back to somewhat regular form as many other fans who I’ve spoken to share the opinion that as soon as Harry Kane starts scoring, the figurative floodgates will be kicked open as we saw for the past two seasons with Kane scoring 21 in 2014/15 and 25 in the 2015/16 season also bagging himself the golden boot award just beating out Leicester’s Jamie Vardy and Sergio Agüero who both netted 24 goals.

Dele Alli scored a tap in on the 59th minute and Harry Kane followed in similar fashion scoring on the 69th minute.  However the man who earned the man of the match award by bagging a brace with a first half volley in to the bottom left and followed in the second half by curling a beautiful shot over the top of Given.   Fans have always loved his eternally smiley and upbeat nature.  However news worried fans with the summer rumours of him nearly joining Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg after only a year at the club with minimal starts last season.  Spurs signed the South Korean winger from Bayer 04 Leverkusen for roughly £20 million and instantly smiled his way into our hearts.

But with few starts for the club as Erik Lamela began to show that he was worth his £25.8 million price tag, the press began to report rumours that he had agreed personal terms with Wolfsburg.  As a fairly keen follower of the Bundesliga, I was very impressed when I originally saw him at Hamburger SV and Bayer 04 Leverkusen with his two footed nature and cracking shot power, you can be sure to be seeing more starts for the South Korean international and most importantly more of his cheeky smiles.
